Classic Sugar Cookies
These classic sugar cookies substitute half the butter and sour cream of a traditional recipe with Greek Yogurt for boost in protein.

Instructions
  1. Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and soda, salt, and nutmeg. Set aside.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar and 1/2 cup organic Greek Yogurt and egg. Then add additional 1/2 cup of organic Greek Yogurt and vanilla extract. Gradually add dry mixture until stiff dough is formed.
  3. Form into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Roll out dough onto a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick, cut with cookie cutters. (The thicker the dough, the fluffier the cookie).
  5. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Cool and frost.
